Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TempPrivacy website, its disposable email tool, and the written guides published on it (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Service.

1️⃣ Use of the Service

TempPrivacy is free and requires no account, no password, and no personal information. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes as long as your use is lawful and does not degrade the Service for others.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to commit fraud, impersonate another person, harass anyone, or distribute malware.
• Use generated addresses to evade a ban, suspension, or enforcement action on another platform.
• Generate addresses in bulk through automated means, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on this site or the upstream mail provider.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or any connected system.
• Resell or republish the Service as your own.

We may restrict or block access where we believe the Service is being used for any of the above.

2️⃣ No expectation of privacy in an inbox

This is the most important clause here, so it is stated plainly: temporary inboxes are not private and not secure. Addresses are randomly generated, but they are not secret, not password-protected, and not encrypted. Anyone who knows or guesses an address can read the mail sent to it.

Do not send or receive anything sensitive through the Service — no passwords, financial details, identity documents, medical information, or private correspondence. Treat every message as though it could be read by someone else, because it could be.

3️⃣ Not for accounts you need to keep

Addresses generated here are disposable by design and stop being reachable when the session ends. You will not be able to receive a password reset, confirm a transaction, or prove ownership of an account afterwards.

You accept sole responsibility for any loss arising from using a disposable address on an account you later need to access — including banking, government, healthcare, work, purchases with a warranty, or anything with data you care about. Use a real address for those.

4️⃣ Third-party mail infrastructure

Mail delivery is handled by the mail.tm public API. We are not affiliated with mail.tm and do not control their availability, retention, or data handling. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the message data itself. If their API is unavailable or changes, parts of the Service may stop working without notice.

5️⃣ The Service is provided "as is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, that any given email will be delivered, or that any defect will be corrected. Many websites block disposable email domains at sign-up; when that happens the Service is working correctly and the receiving site has chosen not to accept the address.

6️⃣ Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TempPrivacy and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, access, profits, or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — regardless of the legal theory and whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.

7️⃣ Intellectual property

The site design, written guides, layout, and source code are the property of TempPrivacy or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts of our written content with clear attribution and a link to the original page. Republishing whole articles, or copying the content systematically, is not permitted without written consent.

Content you receive in a temporary inbox belongs to whoever sent it; we claim no rights over it and do not retain it.

8️⃣ External links and advertising

The Service links to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

The Service is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense and its partners, who may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Our Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.

9️⃣ Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice, and may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or the law. Revised Terms take effect when published here, and the date above is updated. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
